About the Role

We are looking for a Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, polished content tailored for social platforms. The role requires a mix of technical expertise, creativity, and attention to detail to deliver videos that align with the client's brand and drive measurable engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Edit raw footage into high‑quality short‑form and long‑form videos.
Create engaging Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and other social‑first edits.
Add captions, graphics, sound design, and effects to enhance storytelling.
Repurpose long‑form content into multiple platform‑optimized formats.
Collaborate with the marketing team and Social Media Managers to execute briefs (as applies).
Organize and archive video assets with proper version control.
Stay updated with video trends and suggest new editing styles or formats.

Key Requirements

Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).
Familiarity with motion graphics tools (After Effects, Canva video features).
Strong storytelling and pacing skills.
Knowledge of platform‑specific standards (aspect ratios, length, resolution, safe zones).
Basic color correction and audio mixing skills.
Experience with social‑first video editing trends (fast cuts, caption overlays, hooks).
Excellent communication skills and ability to take feedback constructively.
Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
Bonus: Experience with AI video tools.
